Honestly we don’t need that charging speed right now at least in the US. We need more L2 chargers where people leave their cars idle where charge time is irrelevant. To satisfying the “but sometimes people” what would be vastly improve the EV road tripping experience isn’t changing speed but quality and quality. No one should pull up to a DC charger and have to wait in line because two of the four chargers are off line and the other two are providing derated power.
