You look like you are in top 3 creatures in the Universe most deserving a hug
I noticed that Soviet textbooks were frequentist e.g. Khintchin, while modern textbook by Murphy is Bayesian. The frequentist approach makes more sense to me.
I am not expecting japanese fascists to think out of stereotypes.

11·1 month agoWell, now you are talking much more with a sense. Still, I believe that mocking right-wingers is one of the most efficient way to counter the right wing propaganda, even if it’s not in everyone’s taste. The right-wing cheap tricks and vulgar propaganda work, the left-wingers over-intellectualism is lost in a mass of Internet garbage. Just look at recent sentiments.

1·2 months agoThat behavior is not very fascinating.
Well, i found fascinating that mere computer is able to “learn” the life-like moves, no matter which year it is. Does modern algorithms can do it better?

I am so old that I remember that in my country (middle Europe) the proper day to dress the Christmas tree was Christmas Eve. I remember this as something truly special (though I’m an atheist now). But then, capitalism arrived in its full, and now we have Christmas trees since the beginning of November.
