There is a spear and unconventional hunting weapons season in some places. There are people hunting down deer with spears. There are ethics issues as to their ability to deliver a consistent, clean kill to the animal.

They do! High fence hunts in Texas. You can buy any farm raised exotic animal you want and shoot it from behind a fence and have it butchered on site in a box truck where they’ll package and get it chilled so you can ship it back home.

Those people still take pictures of the animal, still take a trophy, and still call it “hunting”. It is the equivalent of spending 25,000 dollars to shoot a jersey cow.

There’s already a muzzle loader season in a lot of places. Some places designate a season for things like muzzle loaders and crossbows, some will group them all together with auctioned bow permits. Typically you put bow season first because once guns start firing, animals get wary of human sign very quick. The ones that don’t are already harvested and in someones freezer.

I really enjoyed Street fighter. I thought it was very fun, I was expecting to have to give them a ton of grace on the acting, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Lot of no-homo kinda stuff, but from the back of the closet. The dude who’s playing bison is doing Raul Julia if he was a boy hungry pedophile, which can be off-putting.

Also Andrew Shulz is playing Dan, and he’s a fairly big part of the movie. I was really annoyed when I saw him, and I was prepared not to enjoy the character. It ended up with me not hating it, especially when he starts interacting with anyone other than Ken.

I mean he shoulda dropped out so much earlier, but Dems are gonna KILL in the midterms despite the DNC, not because of it. My point is Martin is a terrible leader who makes bad, emotional decisions. His first bad, emotional decision was attempting to oust Hogg. Thankfully Hogg bowed out and didn’t let Martin waste DNC money trying to do it.

He started another organization and continues to speak about gun violence. The incoming DNC chair publically told Hogg that him getting elected on a pro getting rid of useless and protected incumbents with people who give a shit, pumping real money into grassroots campaigns for popular candidates even if they are in a district that has been controlled be a democratic necromantic corpse, was the worst things that have ever happened to him.

He made it super emotional and clear that just Hogg coming out and saying those things, being very critical of the loss, was already ruining his tenure, so he arranged to use the full power and funding of his new office against amother duly elected member.

Rather than continue that kind of waste and understanding how unpopular his platform still was in the mainstream DNC, Hogg chose to bow out. Props to him for the decision. After Ken Martin has been humiliated over and over again.
