It is indeed the week number. Some cultures (such as mine, Danish) refer to e.g. week 37 a lot more when making plans.

1·1 year agoI must say I find I was surprised to find a watch named after a Danish military corps.
In Denmark, it would be normal to ask “Hey, what are your plans during week 31, we might throw a barbeque?”. I would find the function quite useful.
