Definitely. Anytime you’re fermenting in an open vessel, the CO2 builds up and pushes air out. If you stick your face below the lip of the vessel, and breathe in, the tingles get ya.

1·17 days agoYeah, I conflated it with the hyperland funding from the same thread
The big tent pitch was weaselly and weak. I assume they were actually unaware of his politics when they gave him the social media plug. But NRP doubled-down indicating it was his preferred distro for “productivity” in that thread.
I’m not sure why they would send a multimillionaire hardware when he spends his own money on much more expensive things.

2·19 days agoYou might be right. They were (are?) funding hyprland to the tune of 600/mo. They definitely donated hardware and provided first hand social media promoting Omarchy.

But they gave money to Omarchy, DHH project, and he has become extremely right-wing.

372·20 days agoTl;dr: they give (gave?) money to omarchy, a DHH project (the RubyOnRails and Basecamp guy) who has made a fairly rapid descent from cringey tech bro to mealy-mouthed nationalist.
FWIW, I’ve only ever played grim dawn on Linux via proton.

ETA: intended to respond to the other comment here to the bsg wiki with an entry for Canus.
That said, I think canis makes more sense for a patrol name.

Built-in, picks up where it left off if you accidentally cancel it by running the same command again, and dead simple.
Permissions for the files will probably be a little broken moving to Linux, but chmod is also easy to use and can work at the directory level.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What’s the most expensive thing you’ve eaten/drank?
2·23 days ago$100+ USD for a 6oz A5 wagyu steak. Certainly changes your perspective on the heights of quality for steak. I also paid $65 for a sashimi grade tuna Benedict at this place for brunch. No ragrets.
$60 for a 1/2 pour of an $1100 bottle of bourbon (rabbit hole amburana). It was a novelty and surprised me a lot. Definitely phenomenal, but a taste was all I needed. No ragrets.
Sam adams utopia (think it was $220 for the 750ml bottle of “beer”), not worth it, but a fun experience to share with other beer nerds.
There’s an apparently $1200 bottle of wine from a small napa vineyard with a wait-list for their wine in my basement right now we got as a gift. We’re gonna need to find a pro who can help us taste that. My wine taste tops out at about $30 a bottle.
One day I’ll do Omakase at a suitably awesome sushi place and wreck the credit card.
Did a senior paper 20 years ago marrying the concepts of naturalistic and normative epistemology.
The takeaway was that it doesn’t matter if you can’t actually prove that you know or don’t know anything. You have to live and have always lived as if you can/do know things.

Flex tape or other wet seal tape for hose repair.
Channel lock and a small mixed set of worm drive clamps.
Other things I don’t see mentioned: JB weld, RTV (silicone sealant), thread chasers, tire spoons, dialectric grease, all depends on the services you want to offer!
