Got downvoted last game for saying Harden looks like a shell of himself compared to last season, would love to hear why some out there don’t think he’s actually washed compared to last year. LeBron/KD/Steph messed up people’s perception of how players age, Harden is at the age where players just fall off and he definitely looks like he’s fallen.
Like how are any of those 2 “fouls” on Embiid actual fouls lol - HORRIBLE refs, which seems to be a hallmark of the NBA this year.
Batum even today is a good starter imo - well underpaid, he’s a good spot up 3 point shooter (been at 40% 2 out of the last 3 seasons and that 1 season was 39.1%), and he’s a very underrated defender that’s very, very good and can guard 1-5. If Philly can keep him from retiring that’d be a major W for them

This is first game coming back from a migraine that’s kept him out for multiple games get a life
Gonna have to see how Milwaukee looks, and I was a big fan of their move - thought they were by far the favourites. Man, even though the Celtics won by just 4, they looked damn good. When they’re locked in defensively, scoring on them looks really tough. Their starting 5’s worst defender is Jaylen Brown, which is absurd.
Suns also looked very good - 4 point W, but Gordon/Allen who are both very good 3 point shooters were bricking wide open looks. For all of the concerns regarding Nurkic, he looked much very good - was good defensively, but how he fit offensively was like a glove with how fluid the PnR with him/Book looks already and how he navigates 4-on-3s if Booker got doubled. The scary part is this was all without Beal. Defensively there were miscommunications, but that’s to be expected with so many new players and a new system, but when there weren’t they looked like they could have a top-10 defense. Feels like they’re just loaded with snipers if you do double Booker/KD, Yuta is such an underrated acquisition too.
