Sales will pick back up after the new owners start to tell their friends how much they like their new EVs, but that has a lag period, paired with all of the off-lease rebate specials competing with a new model of the same car that will be eating into new sales for the next few years, EV percentage will continue to increase but new sales will lag until there are new models to get people’s attention and unlock the next price level down. Stuff like the new Leaf or EV3 might kick off a fresh wave of buyers.
