The problem with making a Minecraft game is that people who like Minecraft will be upset that it’s not like Minecraft and people who don’t like Minecraft will be upset that it’s like Minecraft. Both groups will be excited about it until it’s released.
First I would get myself paid. Then I would drop a big rock on DC and credit reporting companies. Probably take out a bunch of healthcare insurance companies. Spend a few hours looking up companies responsible for the most pollution/human rights violations and remove them. Drop a big rock on the Kremlin and CCCP headquarters, probably North Korea too. Lots of big rocks dropped from really high.
Unless you use Linux, your OS knows a ton about you. On top of that, with root access to your computer they can do whatever they want and if their system gets hacked you become a member of a bot farm or crypto mine.
It doesn’t, installing the game does. The terms of service just let you know that you are willfully infecting your computer with spyware.
Be warned, these games have turned into literal spyware. Installing them gives 2K/Gearbox root access to your computer and collects a ridiculous amount of info.

Early 2000s I started messing around with Redhat and was suprised that a full OS that did most of the windows things was available for free. when Ubuntu gained traction I jumped on that and tried distro hopping a bit before landing aolidly on Debian derivatives as my linux of choice. I remember catching a ban in WoW because WINE was detected by their anti cheat for a while.
Not really, people just lack the imagination or desire to create their own characters. It’s a lot easier to tell a bot “you are X from the show X” and let it use its ill gotten knowledge to fill in the personality than it is to write a whole personality prompt.
1bn would be a good fine. Well beyond a cost of business fine and something that should make shareholders and investors reconsider where they put their money.

Not when compared to the third party servers. Not only do they run better but they give the option of using plugins or mods to further improve performance and enhance gameplay.
You can use a quest with steam VR, it’s not as jailed as people think but without linking to a PC it is pretty content poor. There are good games for VR but nothing that really screams “This is worth the extra $300+ to get a headset to play it”. At least not to me, someone who had a Vive and currently has a quest 3.

I keep getting lag in PoE2 for no reason. Everything will be running smooth and I’ll suddenly have a half second delay on inputs. My computer is better than the recommended specs so I can only assume there is some optimization they need to do still.
PoE1 blew the pants off Diablo 4 even with its feature bloat.
I’ve seen a few but none of them have really been great. They tend to focus on the microbe phase but don’t really do it well. I think Spore killed a genera that didn’t exist yet and should be given a second chance.
I use Firefox with privacy badger, uBlock, and IronVest. I also have it set to disable 3rd party cookies. Sometimes 1st party cookies are necessary to interact with a site but if I’m not interacting (I clicked a link and view a single page) I get no cookies.
