The stores also usually provide you with plastic coins to use instead of euros, so…

I have a thingy on my key-chain that unlocks the carts without the need for coins!
I still return my cart and stack it because I’m a civilised person of course.

That’s fucking brutal
We’re just all appalled at seeing America slide into… whatever it’s becoming with seemingly no resistance. It’s very unsettling.
cops are american too, tho

Ok, that’s fucking genius

Putting a screen on the nozzle is more expensive than reusing the pump screen which was already there, and it’s bound to break more often.

As someone who travelled for work before and after smartphones, absolutely. You couldn’t just open Google Maps, search a business and go there, the problem wasn’t going city to city, but finding a specific place in or outside a city. If you got a request to go to X business either you already knew how to get there, or it would take some planning.
Nowadays my company can receive a request from a customer in another country, and in 1 hour they can plan the trip, reserve the rental car, book a plane, book an hotel for the night. That just wasn’t possible in the past.

My often used apps are numerous, and there are a few that are not often used but by their nature need to be opened quickly when necessary (such as the camera or qr scanner)… Plus I like to have a monthly calendar and clock on my home screen, those take up quite some space.

Actually a much better way was to use a street directory if you know your way around the town even a bit.
You generally only had a street directory of your OWN town, outside of specific professional settings.

Gas stations have lots of cameras and record your car’s plate number

European ones have locks as well, but they also have a sensor that disengages the lock when fuel level reaches the nozzle. That’s what I’ve seen all over the world TBH.

It sticks to your hand and smells bad, especially if the station doesn’t properly clean the nozzle gun. Plus in Europe we have a bunch of diesel cars, and diesel is like 10 times harder to get off your hands than petrol.

WTF. And this is profitable?

That’s what I’ve been using, but I still prefer Nova’s ability to create folders, I could open most apps I needed in an instant by sliding to the correct screen, opening the folder and tapping the app. With Kvaesitso even with categories and such it’s much more of a hassle, the fastest way is typing the first letters of the name, not the same.

This episode was a close miss for me, it’s like it had the framework to be a good episode but they just didn’t finish it up correctly.
The whole debate thing with Jay-Den saying Klingons must be Klingons, yeah duh, everyone knows that, weak! And the thing with the fake battle, really no one else thought of it? Honestly ST always had problems portraying Klingons consistently, they usually make them appear so dumb you wonder how they can manage to keep their fricking starships operational.
Speaking of inconsistency, Darem was introduced in E01 being an asshole for no reason, then five minutes after changed completely, now he’s even a wannabe-counsellor? I’m all for character growth, but there was none, it was more like character switch.
Loved the quote from The Drumhead, loved hearing the Klingon theme once again, I would have loved to hear it a bit longer.
Picardo is killing it as usual.
I’m seeing a slight improvement. I’m still hopeful this show can sediment into something good. I’m worried how they seem to have picked a protagonist once again, a thing I hated from Discovery.
I don’t need to look into nVidia’s history, I lived through it. I started gaming when graphical accelerators weren’t a thing, so I had the chance to see things happen.
