I’m sure my command line game is weak. Do you have a solution for connecting to Bluetooth and for timing out to login screen and blanking it after a certain period?
Exactly. I could use it as my daily if the settings panel was more complete.
I agree
I couldn’t even connect Bluetooth until I switched to Gnome again
Not in the long view it wouldn’t be that bad but we’ve seen other projects take so many years. Look how long it’s taken Wayland.
That’s my plan. I’m back on Gnome until feature parity.
I’m just afraid it’s gonna be another 2 years before it’s ready for everyday use
It’s invite only now?
I wonder if it’s only happening on KDE? Either way, I’m sure it needs to be corrected.
That sucks and they need to fix it. Still out hasn’t happened here yet. Are you on Gnome desktop environment?
I never have to launch twice on flatpak.
And I only keep conversations for 2 to 4 weeks so starting over doesn’t bother me. Sorry if that doesn’t work for you too.
I love Signal and use it with my family which is the majority of my messaging. But I was surprised to find out the rest of my family on iPhone are missing features I have on Android. This doesn’t help bring the iPhone users.
I use following feed the most, but now that I think about it I need to check out the other feeds more often to find interesting follows. Same goes for trending and discover features, yeah, I’m on Pixeldroid. I rarely use the web too.

It’s pretty private but when I uninstalled the community was getting sparse and notifications were slow. Might be better or worse these days.
I’m talking about previewing PDFs, mp4s, and photos in the finder by selecting the file and hitting the spacebar.
And Linux really needs an app like Preview too.
I use both Mac and Pop!_OS (Gnome) and I like and dislike both. MacOS has a great qulcklook that I miss in Gnome. Sushi almost corrected that oversight but it hasn’t worked right for me in a couple of years now. I also like Mac’s useful icon shortcut in the window title bar.
Gnome’s extension system is a clusterfuck, but at least I can decide how windows function, unlike Mac.
But you can follow Lemmy accounts from Mastodon
Works for me
Thanks for the useful info. Still, I don’t think I want to fool with it until it’s available via GUI. That’s just me.
And I hope you are right about the rest being quicker.
