Dems lost in 2024 because Kamala Harris reached out to Republicans and ignored the left, and because the primary theme of her campaign was “Things are pretty good,” when things were not. Sexism was a very minor part of the end result.
If we want people to vote for Democrats, we need better Democrats.

It’s not over.

A jury sees through the Trumped-up charges.

An “opposition party” that won’t even make an effort to oppose.

I always appreciate a valid worry, thanks, especially one that hadn’t occurred to me. Here’s hoping the list is well-hidden and encrypted.
On a vaguely related worry, there are near-daily anti-Trump protests in any American city, and I frequently attend, but the organizers always ask for on-line RSVPs — putting everyone who replies into an easily-subpoenaed database. I never reply, and recommend simply showing up (preferably without a cell phone in your pocket).

Sorry, stranger. If such pix had ever been taken and published, they’d be everywhere. We wouldn’t have to look for them.

This is soooo exactly spot on, thank you.
Cool shirt, but great hat.

My response is positive to all the first two ideas, but I’ve seen no need for NSFW voting.
Looks like stale communities are already closed and deleted, at least here on lemmy.world. Popped into a community I ran but set to “no new posts” a few years ago, and all the old posts are gone. Which is OK by me.

Since it’s the worst possible thing he could do, it’s probably what Trump will do.

Cool stuff from the web & interesting conversations, no charge, and signing up is easier than you’ve been led to believe.

Voting blue-no-matter-who has given us a parade of Democrats who stand for nothing, do nothing, and eagerly cooperate with fascism. I’m too old to waste another vote on such a charade.

I’ve learned something from you. Thanks for the clarification.

In what sense is this “like a military occupation,” instead of simply a military occupation?

That’s by far the finest Dilbert comic ever, so of course it’s not from Scott Adams.

If/when Gavin Newsom is the candidate, I’ll vote for someone else, or won’t vote.

I’ve never used Qwant or Ecosia, but I’ll wager their ads are as easy to block as the ads in Google search.
