  • You posted in the wrong sub to get advice about r/Upwork. Here a few things that will help you win some jobs on that platform:

    • Improve your portfolio items, make them as relevant, professional, appealing, and impressive as possible;
    • Improve your proposals to make the best impression & impact, to showcase how good of a fit you are for that job (search the aforementioned sub for tips on that);
    • If you’re new, work your ass off with your first clients to get the most stellar reviews possible. These first reviews are crucial for your success on that platform.

    $35/hr isn’t breaking most clients’ price resistance. There are tons of successful freelancers with much high hourly rate than that (myself included).

  • "© 2024 AI Whoo, LLC. " I know it’s a detail, but that’s just wrong. You probably thought that, considering how close we are to 2024, you might as well get a head start so you’re up to date next year. But that’s not how it works. The “© 202X” is here to mark the year in which the latest work was published.

    If you don’t update the design of your website every year, you should leave the year that the latest design was published in.
