11 months agoYou posted in the wrong sub to get advice about r/Upwork. Here a few things that will help you win some jobs on that platform:
- Improve your portfolio items, make them as relevant, professional, appealing, and impressive as possible;
- Improve your proposals to make the best impression & impact, to showcase how good of a fit you are for that job (search the aforementioned sub for tips on that);
- If you’re new, work your ass off with your first clients to get the most stellar reviews possible. These first reviews are crucial for your success on that platform.
$35/hr isn’t breaking most clients’ price resistance. There are tons of successful freelancers with much high hourly rate than that (myself included).
No thanks, I prefer not to dox myself, and keep my competitive edge for myself. The advice I gave above is plenty enough to kickstart your success on Upwork.
