Sadly it’s pretty easy to get an invite. I got one from a few friends and they told me they just sat in a weird discord asking for invites.

That’s just new competitive games in general though. The best time to play a pvp game is the first month when there isn’t a clear meta yet and everyone’s having a good time.

I actually really liked season 1 which made season 2 a bigger disappointment. At some point my wife and I were able to joke and predict when “sad funeral” scene was about to happen for some character you didn’t give a shit about because they were a background blip.

I don’t really program anymore but I do manage a group that includes programmers. In college, my professor said the gig is 99% pulling out your hair but living for that 1% when you solve it.

I find myself bored and paranoid when things are going smooth so I don’t think I ever felt bored when debugging.

There are times when I’ve focused on something for too long and go without eating or drinking so I had to pull myself away.

The only advice I can give is just the general good life advice of eat well, sleep well, and stay active.

I fucking hate the EGS and Xbox stores for browsing new games. Most of the time you’ll get an animated video that’s not game footage and two screenshots that don’t tell you shit.

I really hope ciri isn’t the main character. I loved when you got to be her because she felt like playing a modded in cheat character. I fear if they did make her the main character they’d do that Superman thing where they spend half the time trying to nerf her.

The worst is when you’re trying to look for something but one of the discord bots has said a word similar ten billion times so that’s all that comes up. You’ll try to ban the bot to see other comments but then you just get like blank space or some shit where the bots comments would be

That’s another good point. The last one I used had the LoTR cast commentary audio files as options. I was able to req one piece dubbed and the dude who ran it spent like three months adding the dub versions for a show I never got around to watching lol

I went and watched the old first Mutual of Omaha videos and they’re pretty strange. Think it was the first episode that starts with the host, a monkey, and an owl greeting you. The monkey starts swatting at the owl and then the owl freaks out. Older videos are so great because they keep the weirdest shit in that would’ve been cut today

One of the biggest perks of pirating junk. I know some services allow its users to create and post collections. It’s fun to find a movie you like and see what user collections that movie was in.
