Doubt I’d go swimming even with an ultra deep, there are big clocks on the wall at either end of the pool where I go swimming anyway.
Great way to get into horology, I hope you enjoy wearing that in good health for many decades to come.
Absence of date complication makes the Hanhart the clear winner for me.
I’d go with the Omega, though for my money a Speedmaster to suit should be in that budget range.
Cool time piece, I hope you enjoy wearing it in good health for many decades to come.
Patina to die for. In yon shoes I’d get a couple o new spring bars and a nato strap then wear it as is, that would be unbelievably cool. Hope yon enjoys wearing this in good health for many decades to come.
Exquisite, hope you enjoy wearing this in good health for many decades to come.
First time I’ve heard this watch called The Seaweed, I obviously live under a rock, when did that enter the lexicon of our collective conciousness ? Cool photo hope you continue to wear The Seaweed in good health for many decades to come.
Recentley found my late Uncles Certina which appears to be 1957 ish. Going to have it serviced so I can start wearing it.
I love the ironic use of humble, on the humble scale of 1 to 5 I’d say not 2 humble.
If that is what yon enjoys wearing every day, why not ?
Probably the new 007, Time To Kick Back ‘n’ Chill
Personally I’d keep it as is, break my legs and I might settle for a compromise of having them changed so long as the old parts are returned to me. Good luck what ever you choose.
Cool looking watch, hope you enjoy wearing that big eye green boy in good health for many decades to come.
Brilliant a wonky watch, even though it is in gold I could be tempted by the fun factor, If it was mine to get serviced I’d ask them to leave the dial and hands alone, the patina adds significantly to the charm IMHO. Hope you enjoy wearing it in good heatlth for many decades to come.
Lovely, I hope you enjoy using it in good health for many decades to come.
Aside from the fact you need to cash in on some of these or buy a bigger box, there is one in there that screams to me louder than all the others because I cannot get on the AD waiting list for it, namely that Speedy which would look really cool next to my DSOTM. May I ask out of idle curiosity did you get it from an AD or grey ?
If you don’t have money to make mistakes I found a watch I wanted when I was ten years old, made do with one Seiko my entire adult life and when I retired 54 years later bought the one watch I wanted since I was ten. So glad to have finally got a Speedy no regrets relying on my Seiko to get me there.
Happy Birthday, what a cool present and classy strap. Hope you continue wearing this priceless piece in good health for many decades to come.
