Harden’s legacy is gonna be a lot worse than most of /r/NBA thinks if he never manages to win a chip.
Even while he was in his prime analysts and media people didn’t want to put him on their award ballots. If he retires without winning anything it will just be vindication for those guys that he wasn’t a winning player.

Honestly he really just has an incredibly soft touch.
Him being big and strong makes it hard to stop him from getting to the rim, but the real difficult part is that even if he doesn’t get all the way there he can put something up anywhere in the paint and it drops.
He can be falling out of bounds at full speed and still put something high up off the backboard that will drop softly
He is by far the runaway favorite
Zion is genuinely the only player in the NBA who would seamlessly translate to football.
We should not use per36 stats for a guy average less than 14 minutes a game. Completely wrong way to use that stat and not what it’s intended for.
Linemen are also better athletes than NBA players are the same height. You have to consider that lineman are doing what they’re doing at 300+ lbs.
Like the fact that these guys are 320 lbs with a 36 inch vertical is hard to put into words. I don’t think there’s a single player in the NBA besides Zion who could do it.
And that’s what it is really. The guys in the NFL are just Zion at every height range. Just about the limit of how strong you can get while still being able to outrun or outjump anyone remotely close to your size.
Football players are definitely more athletic. Basketball separates itself by both requiring height as well as skill.
In football if you’re simply more athletic than everyone else at every level you will at least make the NFL.
NFL players are better athletes at every height range, besides maybe the ones that include a lot of QB’s or kickers.

I think the new CBA rules are having the intended affect. It you’re a playoff team trading for Zach, you have to be damn sure he is the piece that’s gonna push you over contention, because taking his contract hamstrings any future moves he can do.
Problem is no teams feel like their an great #2 scoring option away from a Championship. I really think they missed their window by not blowing it up either last year at the deadline or this summer. Milwaukee for example would’ve been a perfect trade for them before Lillard became available.
I feel like the team that makes the most sense is the Raptors - but even they should really be blowing it up instead of making more win-now moves.
I feel like I can tell before Year 2.
If you’re a 2nd year player and still struggling in summer league I feel like these guys usually end up busting. Just off memory the only time this test has failed me was Jaylen Brown.

It takes 750 3PA attempts for the percentage to become anything other than noise.
3P% is going to fluctuate wildly for most guys year-to-year, especially guys like Thybulle who rarely shoot. Can’t really take anything from these numbers.
Most surprisingly IMO, is that Thybulle hasn’t even attempted 750 threes over his career yet and it’s his 7th year in the league.

More people are moving away from TV every day. They’ll certainly hit a point where the TV companies can’t justify the cost. However there is a lot of monetary potential in an inexpensive NBA streaming service without blackouts
