The police are typically just there to point guns, so I’d only call if I thought a gun was useful, which is extremely rare.
e: I’m answering from the USA
I would absolutely change that stance if we took guns away from cops and stopped giving them military training. Especially if they had a social worker / deescalation force that was more likely to be sent.

Though technically it’s also a metal?
People have already correctly answered that in this community there are no stupid questions, you’re supposed to be able to ask anything without ridicule. But if you want to permit the general existence of stupid questions, here’s the definition I’ve always used.
A stupid question is one you can easily answer yourself.
As in, any question due to real lack of knowledge is not stupid, but if you can answer your own question just by thinking about it for a second, then it wasn’t necessary to ask and therefore "stupid”.
The world is actually burning though, and there are fewer birds, and people are tired and stressed all the time, and money is tight, and this is all in the real world, no internet required to experience any of that. The internet may expose you to others struggles that don’t affect your real world, but it still affects theirs. The ability to commiserate is what helps a lot of people cope with their real world, and might even invite insight on how to end some of those struggles.
I don’t agree with now being the time, given who that would be. But I do think it would be good to elect a convicted felon to the white house at some point.
Fucking duh. It was a very simple settings change. Turn off “Open supported links” in “Set as default” in YouTube app settings
The downvotes on this comment clearly are refusing to watch the evidence backed video you’ve linked.
Those aren’t perfect though, there’s still distortion and unsteadyness. As an audio engineer, even when an instrument is super clean, I add a little saturation to make it come to life. And yes much electronic music is perfect rhythm wise, but they often mess with more complexity to make it feel off or lean into the uncanny nature of it’s perfection.
Just because it’s in the uncanny valley doesn’t make it bad.
I think perfect music starts to approach the uncanny valley just like a perfect human face does. Where it’s just missing some piece that you can’t quite figure out. Also distortion/saturation makes music sound better, pretty much always.
In which case I would point to this part of my comment.
And I think reading intention into that is probably giving the studio too much credit. Especially when you could replace the board with a literal roadblock and it wouldn’t change anything about the rest of the plot.
That and (speculation) I’m pretty sure most of the people making this movie are liberals themselves.
That didn’t happen in the movie though, there was no next step taken. America pitches the idea and the man in charge is about to say no until another man says it will make a lot of money. There’s no implication of her being promoted or anything. The Mattel leadership doesn’t change, the patriarchy doesn’t change, and Barbieland didn’t fundamentally change either. A couple characters changed their outlooks on themselves, which isn’t a bad thing but it’s also not that profound. The movie identifies some bigger problems but ends up just accepting them and moving on. And I think reading intention into that is probably giving the studio too much credit. Especially when you could replace the board with a literal roadblock and it wouldn’t change anything about the rest of the plot. To be clear, I thought it was a fun movie, I just don’t think it’s as groundbreaking as many make it out to be.
The gist I got was, there wasn’t any limit to what companies could claim for tax credits so the more green they do the more money they save.
It does mention that this could cause add more to the deficit, but my thought is that dems are so good at lowering the deficit that it just won’t be quite as low as it could’ve been. So this is pretty legit good news in my book.
I appreciate the attention to accuracy in your numbering
Also there ended up being no point to the Mattel board drama. It didn’t affect the plot at all and at the end it was still all men making decisions based on profit.
Perfect liberal movie, lip service without changing a thing.
Parasite
It didn’t feel as grounded as it seemed to want to be. A bit too indulgent with the family take over. And overall it was much more sympathetic to the wealthy family than to the poors, but that one is more of a moral critique than an artistic one.
Is that the only part you read? There was a bit of explanation before that conclusion. You’re going to have to address the substance of my argument if you’re going to make a real counter argument. The reply you just gave me is ‘nuh uh’
I don’t see how this is money laundering or wire fraud. I hope he gets off. Or the real best solution would to make it so the revenue just goes to the artists the AI is ripping off.
