They told me that the early warning system is very effective and that the shelters can take quite a beating. What’s more likely is that the killed soldiers got caught outside.

Three U.S. service members were killed and five were “seriously wounded” as part of the attacks on Iran, according to U.S. Central Command.
“As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury,” CENTCOM announced Sunday morning in a post on X.
“Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty,” the post continued. “Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing.”
Identifies of the service members killed are being withheld “until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified,” CENTCOM said, adding that “the situation is fluid.”
I cannot say much but a family member who deploys to US military bases for a living had their deployment relocated from Kuwait to Jordan a few weeks ago. The expectation being regional hazard for the entirety of the deployment (10 months).

100% My firm caters to a very niche segment and that segment requires highly reliable and optimized operations. We are beyond booked. We literally have three environment upgrades and a go live tomorrow (simultaneously) for three different clients. We clean after the vibe coders and get paid very well for our services.
