Or was it non preserve. I never tried it though. I guess a vm should be fine to test it. On the other hand I don’t care enough.

Since you forgot to add - - preserve-root It won’t go too far. But at some point the system wants to load a file that is deleted and the kernel will panic. System crash. Delete incomplete. But rest assured, the important stuff is gone.
This point was true back in 2017.
Today you just do a: add non steam game, compatibility, ge Proton. And run.
Alternatively Bottles.
Another one.
I mean I am not against rocket research, but isn’t there another way without destroying several millions worth if equipment?
Ok I definitely get why you don’t want that content to be seen by children. I watched some of that shit.
But I also must say most of the scenes won’t be understood by children. However the overall content is bad and makes people dumb.
I am sure that you have children whose parents say, that’s a comic, nothing bad can happen there, watching that.
6 million views on that shit…
Hp omen is not supported
Never tried it. I didn’t knew that existed
What they want to sell:
A mouse with the quality of the mice 20 years ago. And you need to subscribe to software updates. However the subscription is not optional. If you don’t pay monthly you can’t use the mouse.
What I would actually pay for:
A high quality mouse with an open interface and maybe open source software for it. So I can maintain the software by myself. Usually you can achieve a high quality standard in a few months, and unless there are some driver issues, it should work forever.
I have a “gamer mouse” with a lot of features, custom dpi settings, custom color settings, rebinding keys and so on.
However I used the software once to set it up and on Linux I can’t even change it. I will never receive any updates!
I am using an old laptop that gives me 3 minutes to run from one power plug to the other before just going out.
I mean I can think of one or two reasons why, but why is this an issue for you?
That’s exactly it.
The unit does restart about once every week and then goes back to suspend to ram.
You basically will never notice the restart unless you cut off power. And additionally drain all capacitors.
While the town is that old I promise you that almost nothing looks like it was 1200 years ago. Maybe they can hold on that tradition 100 years but at some point the people won’t bother. Need more space or don’t see the point of it anymore
This was all about the news probably 2 years ago. Chrome uses a new api manifest that does not allow for changes in websites like blocking specific type of content. Once manifest v3 is fully implemented and enforced there will be no way for ublock origin to work correctly anymore.
Why that specifically?
While we switched basically to gas generators for each nuclear power plant that went offline our increased power demand was met by renewables.
Since the war in Ukraine Germany has switched gears and replaced a lot of gas power plants with renewables.
I know you can. And I am currently using it.
However the change is that straight forward.
You need to manually install grub too. Changing the setting doesn’t work alone. And you need to change the bios settings too.
The advantage of running the ugly epic games launcher is saved games over different machines.
Heroic launcher seems not to save those.
Discord?
Eh! If this is the only community place, then thanks no.
Once you installed steam you should be fine to go for the most part. Installation is however more like an enable in the configuration.nix
I recommend protontricks and protonupQ.
Then most should work. If you have a Linux game that you don’t want to run through steam you can use the steamRun command in nixos if it has issues finding libs.
I haven’t tested lutris and the hero launcher though.
However running epicgames through steam works fine.
If you are American, no. If you are from a civilised country, yes.
