“You know who had a weird flex? Jesus, when he was nice to all those poor people and everyone hated him for it…”

The flex get’s weirder. Do you have bo skills? Do you also like nunchucks?

I don’t trust all these scientists! They want to trick me and do something bad for some reason. I don’t understand what’s really happening because I can’t fathom anyone I don’t agree with being smarter than me.

Water? You mean like from the toilet?

Your not very good at speling.

Back in my day, you had to listen to your computer summon the demon called internet with wild screeches and hisses for 45 seconds before you could even check your email.
I propose that we need an app that does that every time you try to launch a social media app.

House has joined and thinks these people are all idiots.
The Good Doctor has joined but quickly left because there were an odd number of votes on this post.

Every medical drama does these days. It’s wild that this is even being considered. Next The Office will go after every TV show that takes place in an office.

That’s what I’m thinking. She wants to keep being a politician, it doesn’t matter for which side to her.

Great write-up. However, since this is intended to be more educational, referring to the GOP without explaining then turning it into a pejorative isn’t useful. That said, you could of course keep it in as commentary.
For anyone reading who doesn’t know (perhaps international): GOP stands for Grand ol’ Party and it’s another slightly antiquated term for Republicans. The “Good ole pedophiles” is obviously an insult, but one based on actual actions and evidence backed claims. They have blocked and refused to investigate or prosecute anyone in the Epstein files, even with coroborating accusers and witnesses.

Apparently this is a hot take: He’s right. Impeachment of Trump is performative at this point. Dems still don’t have the votes in the senate to convict and remove. Trump is a lame duck president with two years left. Even if he were removed, what then? President JD Vance? That’s a lateral move at best with how much he lies too. The only difference is that JD could legally run in 2028. And if he’s already president, it’ll be tougher to get rid of him, especially if he tones down some of the MAGA behavior. Suddenly people might think that he’s reasonable compared to Trump.
Morally, and even legally, impeachment is the right thing to do. Politically, a presidential impeachment is pointless. If they’re gonna do it, do it fast, get everyone’s votes on the record, and move on.
I don’t want democrat attention on impeaching Trump when we know it won’t accomplish anything. I want them focused on legislation and creating lasting change even if Trump vetoes every bill. Better yet, start writing and updating legislation to criminalize some of the crazy stuff we’ve seen.
Just collect the evidence, prepare criminal cases, and prosecute on January 6th 2029.
As for positions other than president, yes, impeach every last one of them and refuse to confirm replacements.

Non binary god… uhh, doesn’t the bible basically say that God the spirit is genderless?

Due process is in the constitution. Don’t be like them. Let them be properly tried and convicted.
The fact that there’s any question on whether they’ll be convicted is the travesty.
South Dakota, what are you doing? Explain yourself
Buttery what!? Smoked what!? So crazy!

I do like your optimism, but I think elevating JD Vance to president at this stage is a bad idea. It would be a circus and a distraction from more important matters. It was one thing when Pence was VP who at least had some moral fiber left and it could have removed the possibility of a second term. It’s another thing with a lame duck president whose VP lies just as easily and openly as he does.

I didn’t say let them off the hook, I spoke only of impeachment and only of Trump. There are plenty of legal avenues to pursue outside of impeachment. Like maybe sentencing a felon after they’re convicted.

Yes but not enough to convict.
Yeah, I was gonna say this. Not supporting IMAP is a very intentional design choice. If you’re using IMAP then you don’t care about encryption at rest.
Before you say “but I do my own encryption” - that’s great, but do you think the vast majority of IMAP users do?
Tuta’s philosophy is that either you care about encryption or they’re not the right provider for you.
