  • my use case is that n8n sshs into a remote machine with low specs and a connected speaker to read out information sent from n8n so i can do stuff like: pico2wave -l de-DE -w /tmp/warn.wav "Es ist {{ $json.Hour }} Uhr." && aplay /tmp/warn.wav And as you might have guess by now german language would be appreciated. I’m not going to run any additional docker containers for voice generation or invoke remote services. also the speaker is as dirt cheap as the rest of the setup so any output from espeak was basically killing my eardrums.

  • apk del --purge $(apk info -R | awk ‘{print $1}’)

    (1/243) Purging alpine-base (3.16.9-r0)

    (2/243) Purging alpine-baselayout (3.2.0-r23)

    (3/243) Purging alpine-baselayout-data (3.2.0-r23)

    (4/243) Purging apk-tools (2.12.9-r3)

it took me that time to restore the system …obviously not being able to boot it anymore. i feel deeply ashamed.

  • it was late. i “thought” i might free up space inside that alpine lxc. i wasnt. i just like a moran wiped all the apps. then went to bed. i cant even recall what i thought would prevent this from destroying everything. at least it wasnt a closed OS…that would have cost me 51yrs.

  • show me. what is connect? printmagazine connect.de?

hat was constructive and friendly, not… this

ok centrist, do I understand correctly that in your world a rant is not supposed to be public? for the reason? not that I am saying dictators use your argument - but they might light your perspective. where do you think users should be allowed to rant? i mean nobody has been personally attacked and yet in this echochamber not a single reply was able to not mention this nothingburger of an argument. if one wants curated centrists views there is still meta, right. you tell me, where it is legit to rant in public.
