That’s what I did. I told him I’d do because for me the reward is the gained experience and hopefully some shots to show off. That’s good enough for me at this point.

Fuji 16-55 2.8. But it’s my only lens so it’s always on ;)
I used a “free version” for quite a while until Adobe started cracking down on it.
I got a message in the software stating that it would be disabled in a week, giving me time to transfer all my stuff to a legal version. To be honest, I found that pretty reasonable and I got the paid version.
Congratulations, that’s awesome!
Nothing quite like the feeling of your work to be actually valued outside of friend or social media.
I once won a photo-contest and the shot was featured in our national photography magazine. I understand the sense of pride you feel! :) Keep going!
We’re a small team (12 people) and I got promoted to supervisor/semi-manager not to long ago. I have a lot of restructuring to do also on the team-side of things because it’s kind of a mess. Things like these are good for bonding and positivity. That’s a win-win.
I don’t want to be in a position where people owe me money in this scenario. The experience gained is good enough of a reward for me here.
