  • That’s my favorite part, Trump supporters (altho this goes for Putin supporters too) always get caught saying something that’s against their great leader, just because he changes his option all the god damn time, depending on what suits him most at any given moment. Obama care for example, every time he’s interview by a republican he says tp get rid of it, but when but anybody else the story is that they’re working on an improved version. And this applies to any policy.

  • Honestly tired of this shit. The fact that daily acts of treason are the norm in America now… The western world really needs to step up its game and stop relying on such an unworthy partner. The US doesn’t even try or at least pretend to adhere to the UN human rights! It’s honestly sad that we have come to the point where some considering fucking communist China a more reliable business partner. Good job America, you had it all, but clearly sucking foreign dictator cocks is more your style.

  • Idk, my only experience with python is that any app written in it doesn’t fucking work, throwing some esoteric error that has nothing to do with the error at hand and then me needing to look up what unholy specific version I need and manually setting up an environment for it. I dread the day when I’ll want to try some random project and yet again the only way to run it will be some shady ass python script.

JS is pure crack and has no right being the backbone of the web, but python is borderline unusable in my experience.

  • There wasn’t really a good way to secure things back there. At least not something small and squishy like a grocery bag. Besides, the bed is so high up and huge, it’s awkward putting anything up there anyways. The one time we actually hauled something, a Gokart, it was a massive pain getting that thing up there. It’s too high for a ramp so better get to lifting.

Just for fun I’ve quickly looked online, and there actually exist accessories that make the bed smaller with little boxes for such things. Just buy a roof and it’s almost as convenient as a regular car xD

My favorite is this one tho, someone had enough brains to develop an actual trunk (if a bit awkward to reach and a bit small) but understood the need for a much larger bed for the fragile ego xD

  • The Americans I visited live in Indiana. Tho it’s less about them actually buying a lot (about a week’s worth), but rather that when talking about cars and how ridiculously huge their’s is, they always say that they need it for hauling and groceries. Meanwhile the rest of the world doesn’t experience this problem.

And on top of that you can’t put anything into the trunk (or bed I suppose…) and the back seats are just barely spacious enough to fit a rifle case. So if you have around 6-8 bags of stuff, you’re gonna put some into the passenger seat. It’s especially funny, because even my mom’s tiny 3rd gen Clio fits more inside. Picking me up from the airport with barely space for my luggage was another fun one. But they insist on buying these expensive awkward vehicles.

  • Thanks for not providing even a single example… I tried looking around and only found relatively niche use cases, like them being more reliable and resistant (while also being lighter) for extreme environments or infrequent use, for example emergency equipment. And then some people choosing em because they don’t feel like investing more into it, when they have only a couple devices that drain the batteries slowly, let’s say a clock that lasts a year. That could be easily fixed if you could exchange empty batteries for full ones like with gass tanks and similar, and the prior examples aren’t a good enough reason to have such batteries in the convenience store.
