Well, you can get water out of your tap, so there’s an easy alternative. Use a filter if your tap water is iffy.

Thanks for sharing those links!
Glad to see this getting some press. I got my ballot and have also helped 2 others register this year. Many people don’t realize how easy it is to vote abroad!
In case you’re asking in good faith… The downside is that non-citizens voting is simply not a problem. The number of cases is extremely low, there’s nothing to “fix” here. The biggest impact of this policy would be that actual American citizens who do not have, or lost, or forgot to bring their proof of citizenship will not be able to vote. It will predominantly affect poor and marginal populations. People that don’t have a passport, don’t have easy access to their birth certificate, or aren’t aware of the new regulation. Fewer people voting is 100% the goal with this policy.
Dude, just put a “no junk mail” sticker on your mailbox and it will stop. https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/personal/consumers-choice.page

The eclipse is more dangerous actually… The visible light is reduced so your pupil expands. But a lot of UV light comes from the corona of the sun which isn’t blocked during the eclipse. So your pupils are more open allowing in more of the harmful UV light. And to add to it, your eyes don’t realize they are being harmed by UV light without the visible so you don’t have that impulse to look away.
They’re overly clear on the physical presence requirement and the consequences for sending your application too early. It sucks for him, but it’s also not hard to wait an extra week to apply just to be absolutely sure.
Are you sure the tv channels are free? I’m only familiar with Germany: you can get a ton of channels as well but you have to essentially pay a tax for having a tv.
Yep, worked there during the changeover. 2003-04ish. I actually loved working there under the old management, the food was good, quality was the priority. Then the fryers left, replaced by industrial microwaves…but we still baked the muffins. I’m sure even those are frozen/reheated these days.
There’s no fault here, imo…the person that put up the sign probably wasn’t thinking about events in Winnipeg. But that doesn’t change the fact that someone was killed and thrown away like trash. This sign pokes fun (albeit unintentionally) at a very real and raw situation. It’s fair to ask them to remove the sign, so as not to put the families of these missing women through more pain.
There’s no simple answer to your question, just like there’s no quick solution to the problem of inequality. But one premise you’ve mentioned isn’t quite correct. The democratic party hasn’t really been “ruling” for most of that time. They’ve controlled the presidency, yes. But for all except 2 years, they haven’t controlled Congress (it’s been either divided or republican controlled), and they haven’t controlled the supreme court. That said, a lot of Democrats are still happy to push the status quo, and there’s plenty of warranted criticism to go around.
You’re probably right, but this part confused me: "⁴Total data allotment is provided upfront for the 90-day subscription plan at time of purchase. Data usage resets every 90 days upon auto-renewal of your subscription. "
So are you given 90GB of data every 3 months?
It looks like it’s 30GB for every 90 days…10GB per month. Or am I reading the terms wrong?
Hmm…it also says at the bottom Quebec residents only
CBC meaning Columbia Bible College for anyone confused
