Eh I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the result of apathy is the same as actual endorsement. I just feel you have lost too much solid ground because of a lack of participation that you are simply no longer considered in the sea of opinions/needs. But semantics aside, we agree.

Do you just not understand how numbers work? Of the number of people who showed up to be counted, ie the ones invested enough to still give a fuck one way or another, more people voted for this than against it. That may not necessarily reflect the sentiments or ideology of the entire population. But if they wanted to be counted then they should have shown the fuck up. Bitch all you want about tyrants and tyranny because it’s fucking here. But stop kidding yourself that these people are still real underdogs in the grand scheme. Their ideology and dumbfuckitude is absolutely gaining ground and pretending it isn’t just adds another blind spot to be exploited.

The number of people on the internet making that statement is a much smaller number than the number of people who go to the movies. For every person saying they want more original content there are Hundreds if not thousands of people who don’t care and just go see the latest blockbuster that feels like a safe bet.

Look at those cultures celebrating something they hold important for no other reason that it brings them joy and a sense of community, idiots.

Sorry if this question is easily answerable by reading and I’m just missing it. But I genuinely don’t really understand what this product does or what its use case is. Is it a usb stick that gives you kvm access to a computer from a remote location? Like call up someone in another building ‘hey plug the jet into tower X so I can remote in?’ In which case how is this better/worse/just different from a software solution like Barrier? Sorry if I’m being borderline deliberately obtuse but the website gives no info on the home page at all.

As someone who’s in the process of moving to an almost fully Linux environment but only has experience using Ubuntu. Is there a lateral alternative or ‘step-up’ distro you would recommend I try given the downsides of Canonical/ubuntu?

It’s not even a demotion, it’s just reclassification. There’s no hierarchy of importance of solar system objects. People against a more accurate understanding of reality are dumb.

BlueBrixx is a German company making “Lego compatible” brick toy sets. Looks like they aim for more adult oriented sets hence the Star Trek and Star gate licenses. They also seem to produce military sets which Lego usually avoids.
