Sidebar is the builtin option, on terminal it only works on the “side” with a package extending its functionallity. Better overall option by far, treemacs.
Imagine a world it is not only Python, but almost any language :) Org-mode is your friend.
(I will let someone really into these helms awnser u better, but start taking a look on some intro class on org-mode)
Nice!
Ollama runs in CPU mode if you don’t have a GPU, also there are models that can be used with 4Gb of RAM.
Things won’t be fast but for experimenting it is enought :)
Here’s another addition to my aspiring blog: https://www.rahuljuliato.com/posts/ellama
This post outlines the process of setting up Ollama as a server and Ellama as an Emacs client. The result is a localized AI companion that enhances your Emacs experience.
Embracing the world of Emacs has been a delightful journey, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
I’d recommend rustic-mode with lsp-mode (eglot is aimed to be more minimalistic, lsp-mode is fully featured and closer to what u get with vscode or neovim).
You sir are great! Tks for ur videos!
I do the same here, mostly terminal emacs.
I have my tmux set to open sessions by “project” searching with fzf (similar to what Primegen does with nvim+tmux). Several cli tools for each project running.
My emacs is demonized and I use projectile to “isolate” things on the “editing” side of my projects.
I feel you :)
Strangely, I never had any problems with kitty. I just have a bunch o remaps from “meta+something” to “esc+something” so I can use it seemsly with a mac keyboard (I use the same config both for macOS and Linux).
Also curious, does it still hangs with ‘M-x gnus’ or any other time consuming command?
Not exactly what you asked, but take a look at https://github.com/LionyxML/auto-dark-emacs
It follows your system settings, only for dark/light modes. Available on melpa and works with Linux, macOS, Windows and Android(via termux).
I dream of a world gnus wont hang emacs.
