I like mentoring, but my skill set is deep and narrow. DM me and we’ll see if they overlap and if I can match the time commitment that you are looking for, if you are interested. No fee.

SimCity’s cooperative structure building - anything where the group has to earn “points”. PvP asynchronous mechanics are essentially anything where a player can be attacked while offline.
Yup, pretty much this. I have a small touchscreen Arduino device that I keep plugged into my PC. When I hit a button on the touchscreen it sends some text over serial (which is really a USB wire). I have a Python script on the PC that continuously reads from the serial port and parses the received data to figure out what to do. Specifically it tells my Discord bot to play a sound :)
I wonder if the speed at which it degrades can be used to detect AI-generated content.
Been working on Elden Ring Seamless Co-op with some friends - actually two groups, but one plays intermittently so I fork my character to another slot every time. Trying to get my SO to play PlateUp but not much luck there. Also playing Hades Star on mobile but it just makes me want to play EVE hahaha.
I have four total at an oval-shaped table, so I dunno. Check out a few things; see what might work for your particular situation. You may even have to try a couple different things.
You could get a foldable card table if you need something larger, for example.
You put so much effort into your post but my simplistic answer is: we put TV trays next to the players. Like the kind you use while sitting on a couch, not lap trays - the ones that have legs down to the floor.
Also they have Guitar Hero (Festival) and arcade racing modes (Rocket Racing)
My partner and I are playing Lego Fortnite of all things. We’re having a good time. Played a lot of Lego Star Wars when it was new. Lego Lord of the Rings had a couple frustrating bugs that we got fed up with and kept us from finishing it.
In general with Lego LOTR and Lego Star Wars I recall being disappointed that a lot of the building was scripted - “hold to build”. Lego Fortnite has a nice mix of full-building blueprints and freeform piece placement, although it’s not quite block-by-block pieces.
I haven’t played it in a while but I did watch a playthrough recently and I don’t think there was any guessing necessary or anything.
Myst
You’ll probably love it lol
Oh yeah I’m totally aware it is an unpopular opinion. I feel the need to bite my tongue every time there is a thread recommending it because I know I’m in the minority, and the person receiving the recommendations will probably enjoy it :)
I don’t like Outer Wilds. I played it. I beat it. It was irritating almost all the way through.
Tried to play this with my wife some years ago. We kept getting sent to separate instances. That and the poor quality graphics at the time were a deal breaker for us.
All my recommendations are already in your list
