And they say Australia has deadly animals! This is terrifying. I’ll take my chances with a funnel web or salty croc over one of these grizzly brown bastards lol.

3·3 months agoI found the CPAP life changing. Was a walking zombie for years, thinking I was just a bad sleeper.
It’s kind of annoying at first but stick with it. After a while if you try and sleep without it, you realize how bad the apnea is.
Heyyyyy brotherrrrrr…
Question from a non-American, can you choose your Health insurer, or is it decided by your employer?
If you can freely choose, it would be great to have these denial/delay rates published, so people could vote with their feet to the company with the lowest denial rates and thus apply pressure to companies like this.
Simplistic view, I know. Things are much different here thank goodness.

News@lemmy.world•FDA to pull common but ineffective cold medicine from market
11·1 year agoAbout time. Thankfully in Australia we can still get access to the ones containing psuedoephedrine, which works amazingly well.
Can’t believe it has taken this long to see the inefficacy of these.

News@lemmy.world•Judge partially strikes down Georgia ban on giving voters food and water in polling lines
3·2 years agoExcept voting day in Australia is on a weekend, not during the week. And there are also pre polling centres, where if you plan to be away on vacation or working on voting day, you can go along to a pre poll centre and vote weeks in advance. Australia also has mail in and even telephone voting for those unable to visit these centres.

Pleased to hear. Keep it up. After a couple of weeks it keeps getting better and you’ll feel far more rested.
