OP that’s a lot of mental gymnastics. Sounding stupid shouldn’t be this much effort, it just doesn’t feel right.

He didn’t fall to the ground so the arms had done its job of balancing.

If there was an exaggeration, it would be how hard he leaned off balance after contact. The arm movement is legitimate if he stayed on his feet as a result imho.

If he was at a charity event, I’d say that would show even more of a lack of focus/priorities to the loss. /s
