Is it though? Not many team sports have such dedicated positions. Lose your starting left guard? Or your tight end? You’re fucked. I’m not even talking QB. There are only a small number of backups for each role.

Also, in other sports you don’t see season ending injuries on what seems like every single game day.

I’m struggling to explain this to my friends, but I’m kinda getting over this sport. Too many injuries that have too much impact on the results. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching a good game, but it just all seems so random.
