He dropped out of college for a reason, and I’m guessing you’re right that he preferred his loud ignorance

Mother Nature is wise

Yeah I wasn’t trying to argue, although I think my comment unintentionally sounded that way. My bad. I guess my point is that, yes, there are better questions to ask about our current state of affairs than when did we have lower prices. Questions such as:
“Which president did more to address the affordability crisis: Biden or Trump (47)?”
Biden went after this pretty hard while Trump denies there’s even a problem.

We can compare those periods, sure, but one immediately followed less than a year of Covid and the other was caused by an illegal, immoral and unnecessary war.
Biden had been in office for not very long when the war in Ukraine started. Inflation steadily improved under his presidency.
Trump’s insane slash-and-burn administration has raised inflation a lot, and that’s not slowing down, it’s increasing.
If all you do is take a mathematical average, you’ve lost too much data to understand the important reasons why we’re seeing what we’re seeing.

According to my survey, 37% of Americans are annoyed you said this
Do you want Don Quixotes? Because that’s how you get Don Quixotes!

The oceans migrate to the other side of the planet at night, which is why the sky turns orange late in the day. No more water to reflect!

Oh good timing. I just had some kava kava.

Welp, into the failures cave with the others then

You have more faith in humanity than I do if you think a stockpile of resources won’t need defense

It’s narcissistic in nature and makes little sense to outsiders.
Sounds like Trump to me.

I see you’ve met my ex

I want one because it’s got a proper HDMI-CEC implementation for a living room TV device, it will run silently, and it’s tiny. I also have a Steam Deck, so I expect to use them together quite often.
I am aware I can get a different PC right now. I don’t want one bad enough to do it though. I also may not buy a Steam Machine depending upon how the price shakes out. I was thinking maybe $600ish when they announced it, but it’s not worth $1k to me given its modest capabilities.

I’m going to wait for it to exit beta first, but I am excited about being able to run vanilla Klipper on the CC1!

Same for me

That really sucks. I have a little brother who did similar things.
A PS Vita is backwards compatible with PSP games and is also easily jailbroken. I got one direct from a Japanese seller on eBay for under $100 (several years ago though).

PPSSPP is truly a work of art.
What other games did you have?
I bought a PSP with the 1.5 firmware so that I could jailbreak it right away. I owned a few original games, but battery life was always way better without a spinning UMD
Outrun 2006 was always my favorite.
When I was just a child I received a small metal Enterprise D as a Christmas present. The saucer section did detach… once. After that it jammed and literally nobody in my family could get it apart again.
At least it was accurate to the show?
