Doing nothing when it comes to safety regulation is doing everything wrong.
Reminder that good is not the enemy of perfect. It is much easier to convince 100 people to eat 10% less meat than to convince 10 people to become vegetarian.
I’ve started eating vegetarian several days a week and all it’s done is introduce me to some amazing tasting food that I haven’t tried before because of the dumb stigma that vegetarian means not tasty. I find that I enjoy some of these vegetarian dishes more than it’s meat counterpart because it’s not ruined by tough overcooked tasteless meat.
It’s worse than that. The snow crab population is close to 10% of what it was in 2009. The point is, this isn’t the first time there was a major decline in the snow crab population. It’s been dramatically but consistently plummeting over the last decade.
The crab population only ‘halved’ in 2019 because of a small resurgence in the population in 2018. In reality, the crab population is back on its usual course of being completely screwed by climate change.
Fishermen might not have PhDs but they’re not idiots. The snow crab population didn’t just vanish over night, it’s been falling year by year. Not to mention there are size limitations to legally harvesting snow crabs to keep the population sustainable, and being a fisherman necessitates a minimum degree of awareness of crab sustainability whether it’s for legal or practical reasons.

Before you take everyone’s word about the nasal cycle, check if you have dust mite allergies. Turns out I did and my nose was far stuffier and itchier than what should be normal.
I switched out my pillowcase to an allergy pillowcase and started taking some allergy meds. It cleared up my nose a lot and now I can actually feel one nostril only being slightly more closed due to the nasal cycle instead of having it almost all blocked.
Girl boring guy quirky.
God I want a socialist tampon inside me so bad. Socialism is so hot.
Are youIn 2006, the AABB, American Red Cross, and America’s Blood Centers all supported a change from the current US policy of a lifetime deferral of MSM to one year since most recent contact. One model suggested that this change would result in one additional case of HIV transmitted by transfusion every 32.8 years. The AABB has suggested making this change since 1997. The FDA did not accept the proposal and had concerns about the data used to produce the model, citing that additional risk to recipients was not justified. Source
We are well past the 80s and decades behind something that should have. Been corrected a long time ago. The systemic discrimination towards gay men is apparent when you look at EU models of deferment compared to the US.
We should make it known to these people that it’s ‘gay blood’ though. What they do with their own body is up to them because I support bodily autonomy, including dying of bigotry.
That absolutely doesn’t take into account of women being promoted less often and thus making less money while being over-qualified for their position.
