Both solid. Can vouch for Baltic service.
I hear this regularly about CWard and Marathon. They’re great watches, but stuff goes wrong, and you want to know you’ll be okay. There’s soooo many great watch brands, why buy from someone who doesn’t care about you? Buy a Henry Archer, or a Sangin, and the owner / designer responds to your email that day and gets you sorted.
Sangin instruments - created by a US marine spec ops and loved by that community. Tricky to find but doable, I’ve tracked down five of em.
Sangin, hands down. Started by a marine raider a few years ago. Serious SOC testing. Lots of guys reporting 100k+ rounds fired while wearing, both in and out of uniform.
Marathon is legit, but their customer service is a mess. Sangin has a lifetime guarantee, and when you have an issue, Jake the owner answers you right away and gets it sorted. I had a broken date wheel that was back in my hands free of charge in two weeks.
Lots of options from quartz to selita automatics, pilot and divers.
