I have no idea. It was titled something like “rebels take over Damascus airport”. Then I went on flight radar and saw the airplane taking off with no destination set.

I can’t verify how “real” it is other than I saw it on social media right before that airplane took off and saved it. Everything today moved pretty quickly.

Personally I don’t think Assad was on that flight.

I watched that live. The video from the airport a few minutes before was surreal.

If you are banned from blahaj (or any other instance) your posts here will not federate on that instance. The refederation applies to the community not individual users or CDRMITTENS. That would need to be addressed by them with the other Lemmy instances admin team.

Talking with ada this seemed to be a poorly handled miscommunication. Ada and her mod team are not selectively removing our content but they have banned some of our more active posters and this is the source of the original drama.

Yeah maybe. I just read it as it’s personal stuff based on this line.

I manage a very large OpenStack cluster for my day job and we just give people what they pay for.

Just for yourself? Why not rent or colo a dedicated server or two or three and install a hypervisor? What all do you even run for yourself that needs 25 servers?
