Automated strategy made money on an up year. Those algo traders are always trying to find the next thing that works, because whatever works today won’t work forever. I’m not one of them, that’s just what I know based on having a friend who writes those algos. I asked him if he’d ever quit and just run an algo with his own money, he said no lol.

My friends run a music school for kids out of their house. I believe they do pretty well for themselves. I’m no entrepreneur, just wanted to share the idea with you.

Steal a guy from a small company like me lol. Guys who work with huge teams rarely know wtf they are doing. Meanwhile, I work with a team of 4 other dudes, we all do the work of like 30 guys no problem. We get paid accordingly though.

I don’t even have my own business, but I feel you, half my income comes from bonus. I make a lot at the end of the year, but paychecks are smaller than bonus so I hesitant to get a mortgage and loans.

Lol an experienced business guy cannot connect the dots like an experiences software engineer, no way.
