My point was that it may have been made useless. I seem to remember Louis Rossman complaining about it, but I have no idea over which issue. There is no point in having a right to repair act if it can still be abused in some way shape or form by large manufacturers.

I think the problem with this one was that manufacturers can hold all the cards on the cost of buying replacement parts. This would open up the issue of people being gouged. I was hoping that someone could give me more accurate information on the issue.

I am out of the loop on this one. I am probably wrong, but…Wasn’t the bill nullified by the fact apple has the sole right to supply the replacement parts? Or does the bill work as intended where replacement parts can be sourced elsewhere as well as documentation being made available?

This is quickly going to be come Russia’s Epstein moment imo. Prigozhin has faked his death a few times now. He had a wardrobe full of disguise gear in his St Petersburg house. He could quite easily just vanish into Brazil.

This would cause such a shit storm that the Tories would never been seen as a credible option again. ECHR is embedded into the Good Friday Agreement. This would throw the whole process up in the air. That would antagonise not only the EU but the US also. They have been threatening this since Johnson. I could easily believe they are crazy enough to go through with it right at the end of their term. Labour would put us straight back in again.

Inews has done an article on just this. It looks like they want to finish off the job of smashing the country to pieces before they are kicked out.

That complacency has been very prevalent in the UK for years now. I have been pointing out for years of the comparisons between our government and how the NAZI’s took control in the 1930’s. It is only now that people are taking that claim seriously, sadly.

I don’t think anyone minds people buying fly crap with a currency that has no credible base. What galls people is when we loose billions of dollars from the world economy from a group of con artist with no restraint in how low they would have gone. Or how we have morons racing to earn cash by running climate killing mining rigs.

Or you could just buy a splitter for less than£10.

It will come into effect in the UK also. Like it or lump it, the UK is forced to follow the EU market design. As for legislation being applied in favour of the public interest, I would not count on that until we remove the current government. At most they have 18 months left before an election has to be held.
