That’s my thinking too, it’s a long season and usually the veteran teams know how to pace themselves. Wolves and OKC could be peaking so I can see why many ppl are being cautious.
Don’t know if i “root” for other teams but it makes me really happy seeing previous laker players we developed thrive, so anytime I catch a pelicans game it’s easy to root for BI, even seeing Kuzma trying with the wizards makes me happy for him lol
Also I became fond of the guys from this past fiba run so I’ll root for Knicks, pacers and nets and get happy if they put up crazy numbers.

Idek i thought the writing on the wall was how bad Steve Kerr coached in fiba, their off-season signings were side eye worthy and losing Bob meyers…it was never looking good. They’re lucky they have Steph and if they wanna ride with their franchise players into the sunset, we should all just be thankful curry still getting down some nights.

Also the format will be ever changing. Right now I think silver is just kinda copying how footy runs their in season tournaments adjacent to the regular season but it might need adjustments for the nba. The MLS introduced “leagues cup” this year which was a lot of fun but it basically stopped the regular season to hold a month long tournament, that could also be an option to see how guys respond to a singular competition instead of being confused what the difference between tourney nights are and what regular season nights are.
