It’s not. It isn’t bad either, but it’s certainly the weaker out of the three TNG era Treks.

Vegans aren’t a problem. Why would you care about what another person chooses not to eat?
Holier-than-thou vegans with pamphlet level arguments they force upon everybody are a problem.
Thankfully there aren’t too many of those around. Less than Jehova’s Witnesses, at least.
It does seem like America in particular has a cult of people hating on vegans, and I gotta ask; why do you think you’re better than them, if you’re expressing the same attitude as the worst kinds of vegans?

Yeah… See… I already played games like Sim City 2000, Age of Empires 2 and 3, Homeworld 1 and 2, Dungeon Siege, and space sims like Vega Strike and Freelancer.
So I understood what deep systems looked like, and also detailed character stat development. What they promised was something that sounded like a system heavy game, and my expectation (even as a young teenager back then) was that evolution was a creative spin on RPG stat development.
What we instead got was the most barebones element from each of the games I mentioned. There basically weren’t any systems, and the few that existed were entirely self-contained and could easily be completely ignored without any major loss.

An old one: SPORE.
Cool creature editor. Lacked all the depth that was promised in the presentations. Instead of being a cohesive game through the ages, it’s like 5 bare-bones shallow games glued together.

Star Trek The Next Generation.
Star Trek Deep Space Nine.
The Expanse.
Andor.
Avatar The Last Airbender.
Castlevania.
Pluribus.
Frieren.
Dan DaDan (a FUBAR anime. Somehow really good).
Primal.

I mean… Following what the Linux terminal was doing definitely helped me catch problems as they occurred back when I was using Ubuntu.
Yeah… Things taking weeks to arrive… Crazy to remember things used to be that way. The only time something takes that long to arrive these days is when it’s shipped from China.

No… No this is still accurate.
I’ve played Genshin Impact just fine on my Steam Deck using An Anime Launcher.
Um, acktchuailley Linux can run Genshin through An Anime Launcher.

I’m not so sure. I’ve read Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, and in it was an AI priest who was built to do all the believing for its population, so the population could go about their business without having to waste time believing in things.
I’d say this is somewhat the same.

America needs to become a proper multi-party, representative democracy. Otherwise you’ll continue to slide into nonsensical, regressive, two-sided tribalism that lacks any nuance or compromise.
So long as that doesn’t happen, America will remain the most primitive Western country.

Only in countries that lack sever consequence.

Yes. I drink it and I actually lose water.

By gods. It doesn’t matter what technique you use, it’s still just a dehumidifier! The immediate limitation is the humidity of the air, and deserts aren’t known for being very humid!

Well… There would also have to be water to actually collect from the air. Thunderfoot made a really good video about these dehumidifiers when yet another one popped up on Kickstarter claiming to end water shortages.

It’s a dehumidifier. There’s nothing to patent that hasn’t already been patented.

It really is. I’ve seen at least a handful of these on Kickstarter before, and before Kickstarter was a thing I’m pretty sure I saw something about “revolutionary new technology” like this in a TV documentary.

Here in Denmark I can basically just jump in front of a moving car on a crosswalk (one without traffic lights) and if the car so much as touches me they risk losing their driver’s licence.
I know The Netherlands is the same like that. Not sure about other EU countries.
Well, at least we can agree on the distinction being arbitrary.
