I’ve never liked the Tatum/Brown combo for the simple reason they basically have to take turns for them to be effective. You want your best players to compliment each other and now with Porzingis and Jrue it definitely feels like Brown is the piece that doesn’t fit. But as for Tatum being the guy, I have zero faith in him in crunch time. This play strikes me more like Brown thinking he’s finally getting a chance at a big shot since it’s always Tatum blowing it.
