  • Everyone thought I was an idiot when I called Cade a bust 5 games into his career. Sure enough, he’s proving me right. Cade is simply not a starting caliber guard in this league. The truth of the matter is, he was the #1 overall pick in an otherwise historically weak NBA draft. Of all the years the Pistons could finally get the #1 pick, it just happened to be 2021. Just horrible luck by that franchise. Anthony Bennett 2.0

With that being said, it’s time to clean house completely. Trade Cade for a late 1st/early 2nd to a team who is desperate and cut your losses. Cut everyone else or trade them for a late pick. Sell the team and have the entire front office gone and replaced. The Pistons are going to be irrelevant for a very, very long time.

  • Jonah isn’t going to help this team. They have the worst pass rush and worst secondary in the league. You are not winning a playoff game with this roster.

Dan Campbell also completely shit the bed this afternoon in some of the worst coaching I’ve seen this year league round. Matt Lafleur out-coached him in every step of the way and it was embarrassing to watch. This season is over. Even if the Lions limp into the final wild card seed at 9-8 via tiebreaker, they’re easily one and done.

  • It’s time for Lions fans to admit that Brad Holmes is just simply not good at analyzing defensive talent. Levi, Paschal, Campbell were all wasted picks. Kerby Joseph has regressed hard. Sutton was an absolutely awful FA signing. He got lucky that Branch fell in the 2nd round because otherwise he would have drafted another scrub in the 2nd round. He’s amazing at picking offensive talent but defensively he has whiffed hard on a lot of his picks/signings.

  • Late run: Minnesota. They are the best team in the North right now and once Jefferson is back, it’s over. They MIGHT have a tough time in Denver tomorrow night but after that I think they run the table, including twice against Detroit.

Collapse: Detroit. Their defense is still one of the worst in the NFL and their schedule isn’t as easy as previously thought. They face Chicago twice, and Fields in the past has torched this defense. Denver has seemingly got their act together after that embarrassment against the Dolphins so that could be a trap game for Detroit. New Orleans isn’t terrible and have a solid WR corps that can easily embarrass Detroit’s secondary. The Dallas game of course is an automatic loss for Detroit. I’m thinking Minnesota finishes the season 12-5 while the Lions collapse down the stretch and finish 9-8 while they limp into the final wild card seed participation trophy via tiebreaker like they did in 2016.
