22·18 days agoDo you get that most of the moderation in this community is done by me? There’s not a big group of people scheming and the admins of this instance are busy elsewhere.
I’d encourage you to browse through my comments and tell me by my content (or moderation actions) whose side I’m on.
I think what you’ll find is I don’t get involved in the drama and frankly don’t want to. I do care about addressing reports and keeping the community functioning though.
I’ve issued a single 1 day ban in this thread so far. That’s it. I’ve also asked the person above to stop their targeted harassment and I’ve already asked you as well to stop encouraging it (a position the admin of your instance echoed as well).
There’s no fucking conspiracy here. You can’t use this community to find people in the comments and harass them about things happening outside this community.

42·19 days agoPerhaps most interesting to me in this article:
Protestors had been there since Friday, the same day detainees announced a work and hunger strike to draw attention to what they say is a lack of proper medical care and sub standard food.

I’d love to see a post about ways to simplify the Fediverse or make it more accessible to people. I don’t want to see whatever this was.

12·1 month agoCan I talk about being in a Nielsen panel or survey?
No. Once you begin participating, we ask that you do not share that you’re part of Nielsen research. We ask that you do not discuss your role with people outside of your household, including on social media websites, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. This helps keep our research as independent as possible.
