Do people actually celebrate American-style thanksgiving in Canada?

There were native American tribes all over the American supercontinent for thousands of years prior to European explorers ever setting foot here and confusing it for the Asian subcontinent now mostly known for its international exports of ultra-nationalist assassinations.
