Only authorized dealers will get the lowest wholesale prices so you can’t expect the same sort of flexibility on a new condition watch from an unauthorized dealer. My gut tells me that if the dealer offered you a quote that much lower unprompted, it’s probably worth getting a quote from another authorized dealer just to get something of an idea of variation and if it’s very different let them both know that you are shopping around for the best price.
