I think that a lot of people forgot that KAT was considered an elite defensive prospect with big upside on offense when he was coming out of Kentucky, and he spent his Freshman year at Kentucky playing PF next to Willie Cauley-Stein.
It makes sense that he’s a better defender at PF next to an elite defensive C given his history.
