3·1 month agoThat MW figure has no timescale. it is a peak metric from one instant. 53 MW for one second = ~0.015 kWh 53 MW for one hour = ~53 MWh 53 MW continuously for one day = ~1.26 GWh 53 MW continuously for one year = ~462 GWh There is no guessing as to how often that one datacenter operates at peak power consumption.

Anyone else see the illusion in the thumbnail? for the longest time I was staring at it, seeing the perspective looking down at the corner of the building, probably a drive through on the bottom left out of frame. sign faces to the right… read the article, look back up, now the perspective is looking up from the sidewalk, sign pointing left.
1·1 month agoWife died of covid. Apparently she was a swinger. Those weren’t church friends. He found someone online. He was sending them money for months. Last transaction was for airfare. He went to the airport to finally meet them. Nobody arrived. Unfortunately he didn’t live much longer. Poor soul.

Skill issue. Put it on an IoT vlan or subnet and keep it off the internet. Tunnel in and reap any benefits without internet exposure. Only thing that needs to stay updated is the tunnel and it’s host. Headscale is nice

Find the Needle is close to release. Demo is quite fun. Just install and play via Steam. Works great under default proton, no interaction or settings needed there.
