Very cool! Still so much innovation to be uncovered in FDM printing even today. Exciting project!

Bought low? Sell high! Or will you somehow extract more value from it before it dies??

Where has this bot been all my life? So many cryptids dropping undeclared acronyms everywhere at all times.

disk repair shops aint cheap. you go there when you lose data and NEED it back, not to top up on Helium like party balloon. Also balls expensive. You’d need a clean room just to open the thing. AFAIK there are no service ports to just chooch in more helium.

Shopping is a hell of a drug

I’d be more worried about loose windings contacting the metal housing and making it live without a safety ground to trip the breaker. And yeah, high efficiency appliances are considerable investments considering their lifespan and constant energy draw. Annual energy costs add up quick.

Shock gloves, camera glasses, all the shit I’d think up as a child to invent is somehow hot shit for modern day fascists. Wtf is this timeline?

Let’scrypt and port forward. Sprinkle on some free ddns with a sync script/job to keep ddns pointing to your real public IP. Can even roll in some headscale if you’re feeling adventurous

If data centers can create heat islands, heat pumps coupled to ac units at a similar scale can make cool islands? Shove heat into the earth using solar. Wise guys, why not?

They’re still working on it before they lay the ballroom foundation. Need to make obstacles for the insurgent cement truck ya know

No shit. Flood or Flagerate just about anything and it’ll stop working. Is this real journalism?
Tongue punching your mom’s fart box

There’s irony in dinosaur corpo and dinosaur juice teaming up to fuck up something that should be futuristic, likely to power the future of tech. This is the Murican way. Traditional values or established powers or something something freedom…
Thermal expansion is real. Have experienced loose nozzles when only cold tightened. Also as others have said, ensure belts are tight. If they’re floppy enough to skip teeth on the steppers you’ll definitely get layer shift from a light breeze. Monitor the next test and let us know how it goes!
You’ve heard of shit posting! Now get ready for…

Just straight up not trying to hide it anymore.
Test failed successfully. Excess material hit the bed, cooled, head collided on next pass, layer shift. Keep the head clean and fine tune to eliminate over extrusion. If bed is not level and first layer bungled, same story after leveling and cleaning bed
Kudos! Glad you took that extra (necessary) step adding the ground. The old cord was probably disintegrating and crumbly anyhow
