Supporting a company that respects the licenses of the software it uses, plus the hackability this allows. The writing experience is pretty awesome as well and has turned me from a keyboard-centric to a scribbler, which has been helpful to my thought process.

I’ve been using the staedtler noris digital jumbo for a few years on my rm2 and it has been quite good. The tips last a long time and I’ve never noticed any weirdness or behavior change at all with them. The writing away phenomenon is known to happen when the tips wear out though I’ve never experienced it with my stylus. I do write with a light touch and use the calligraphy pen style.

One can also upload files and notebooks as pdf to GDrive etc. without any issues afaik.
