Currently replaying The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. Also have a save going for Stardew Valley and Baldur’s Gate 3 (well, I have a few games going for BG3; I have my solo game, I have a game with my partner, I have a game with my partner and a friend, and then I have a game with my partner and two of his friends). I should also get back into Pathfinder: Kingmaker, but I think at this point I need to restart my save because it’s been so long.

I do video editing myself in Linux and Kdenlive does pretty much everything I need. The UI is a bit odd to learn but I’d imagine any new editing software is gonna have a learning curve of some sort.

I keep considering putting Arch on my desktop (it currently has Ubuntu) but I feel like I would have to back up all my files. Is there a way to upgrade without backing up everything onto one of my hard drives? I’m just worried I’d miss something

Hiya! Lemmy was actually one of the reasons I started learning Rust, but I do also know JavaScript, Python, a bit of Julia, C, C++, MASM, NASM, MIPS, a bit of TypeScript, and Java. I’ve worked on both frontend and backend although I think my expertise and comfort lies with backend primarily. I’m not sure if I’d be able to help with y’all’s issue as I’m not familiar with the Lemmy codebase, but I’d be willing to try and help debug the issue and hopefully get it under control.

Is there any work being done on a proper mobile client? I also wasn’t aware of the Shorts feature on PeerTube, but then again, I haven’t checked the site in a minute. Might want to look into publishing videos on an instance sometime.

It’s almost as if you can create an RSS feed for any channel by using https://youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=[ID_HERE] and finding a website online to find a channel’s ID from their @ handle.
