Solid three watch collection.
I have the same Polaris and recently ordered a brown leather rally strap. I have a few chronos on bracelets and figure the blue dial with a honey vintage leather rally strap might make it pop even more on those sunny car show days.
I like it. My son has the blue duro and likes it… I was going to buy the green bezel version for myself but didn’t want to make him jealous lol
Completely different watches. The Omega is a tank and the Cartier will still be cool 30 years from now. The Tag shows you’re a different cat and look at this mofo… and the breitling gives a “I like it, that’s all that matters” vibe.
All are good… just depends on your lifestyle, clothing, and circumstances.
for 8k you could go slightly preowned and get a santos and a speedmaster. This two would take care of 75% of scenarios… obviously not swimming, but that’s what gshocks are for lol
If it had to come down to these 4… I go Tag. Because fuk em, I like it haha

My manual watches include an Ed White 321, Silver Snoopy, Kudoke k2, Grand Seiko Omiwatari, and an Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon… so that’s 50% of my main watch 10-spot watch box lol
I loved that DJ… I tried on this exact version 3 times. I really want it and that shade of green would fill a big hole in my collection. But I just don’t know if I want that cyclops… it seems like the ultimate “look at me” watch. I mean, it is beautiful and that green is awesome. But I know people will ask about it and I actually would hate to be like “oh it’s a Rolex”… that just isn’t me.
I do like the Omega as well… but I already have three omegas and an itching to get a ck859… so I’m trying my best to not just have a box full of omegas also.
But if I didn’t have any omegas and was just deciding on these two as daily wears I would pick the omega. I like the lugs better, no cyclops and more interesting indices and hands.
I’m working on getting a Farer Cayley Verde back. I sold it and two others when i needed an extra $2000 to get a great deal on a Speedmaster 321… now that it’s gone I miss seeing it. It always brought a smile to my face and was unique in so many ways.

I had a 15-spot box full of $800-$1500 watches. I sold 90% of them and bought a JLC polaris chrono. Now I am definitely a quality-over-quantity guy.
