Thank you! Got it this summer and couldn’t be happier with it. It’s been fairly efficient with my grandma-styled driving too.
Lol the walls in my house are all painted gray (with the trimming painted white).
I love the Polar Explorer II, but like the other commenter said too, it’s too big at 42mm. I hate that they went from 39/40 to 36/42 for the Explorer models. 40 (47-48 L2L) is like my max for size. The YM wears slimmer (and better) than my GMTII despite being the same size.
I purchased the Rhodium dialed Yachmaster back in 2021 as my second purchase from my AD. Prior to this, I wasnt a fan of most Rolex watches, in particular the ones I always saw in the wild (the Sub, the Explorer, and a variety of fluted DJs). It was the first watch I wanted from the brand, but I ended up purchasing a domed bezel DJ to grease the wheels (since sold).
Following this, I did buy a VTNR earlier this year (I’m left handed) but still think the Rhodium DJ with the blued seconds hand is their best looking watch. The way the light catches the dial doesn’t happen on many of their other watches. What do you all think?
Not sure your style but Longines have several:
A few different sized dolcevitas:
It’s a smidge too big. I feel your pain. This is my dream dive watch if they made the ceramic version in the 38mm. Maybe one day they will.
The metal clasp on my wife’s purse, or worse, her engagement ring. Waiting for the day that the diamond scratches the sapphire glass, but so far it’s only scratched bezels, case, etc…I keep forcing myself to walk to the right of her but it’s not always possible.
I think they’re too thick. I thought them too and they’re closer to 14mm thick.
Blancpain and a ceramic version 50 fathoms bathyscape in either a 38mm (only in steel) or in a 40mm. 43mm makes so little sense to me. Just closing your market.
