So you want to give the refs a way to directly impact the score, rather than the current slightly better method of requiring a player to make a shot(s)?
Refs are sus enough as it is, giving them even easier access to cover/beat their spreads is a terrible idea.

I feel like the heartbreak of an early exit from the prestigious in season tournament is going to weigh heavy on the psyche of the Wizards organization. If they somehow don’t win the chip this year, I think losing the in season tournament can really take the full blame.

Call your own penalties, fans shoot for it if disputed. Ball don’t lie.
