As someone lucky enough to have been able to afford a house, the best thing we did was paint the main level no less than 4 different colors including a bright fuchsia in the bathroom. an upstairs bedroom/bathroom each got their own color & in the other bedrooms we’ve left the colorful blobs & rainbow that the prior owners painted bc they were kids bedrooms.

The basement was out of our budget to paint, & it’s def the saddest room in the house with its off white walls
